And his name will be...

Liam Thomas Isaacson

Liam is an Old German name meaning "Determined Protector". Some books say that the name is of Irish origin. Liam came up in discussion many months ago- right around the time we found out we were going to be having a baby. Of all boy and girl names we've thought of since May, that's the only one that's ever stuck with us. Luckily we're having a boy, otherwise, I doubt our baby would be named before birth! The only girl names that we loved were all in the top 10 and we really didn't want to give our child a very common name. Liam is in the top 100 names in the U.S (right after the name Blake, oddly enough!), but is pretty common overseas. It's very popular in Australia and the UK, always in the top 20 names in different states and countries.

We knew years ago that we wanted to use the name Thomas for a middle name as it's a family name in both of our families. The name Thomas belongs to Liam's dad, both grandfathers, and great-grandfather. :)
